Sharp rise in coking coal imports via Karaikal in Mar

April 14: Imports of coking coal via Karaikal Port increased sharply in March to 52,800 tons against a volume of 26,015 tons imported in February, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
In March, 28,000 ton arrived from Australia at a unit price of Rs 7,453 ($118) and the balance 24,800 tons came from Mozambique at a unit price of Rs 7,609 ($121).
In February, details of prices and originating countries were not available.
