Shree Cement Q2 net profit drops 37%

November 10: Shree Cement Limited on November 10 reported a 36.82% drop in its net profit to Rs 108.81 crore for the July-September quarter of 2014-15, narrowed from a net profit of Rs 172.22 crore reported in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a filing to the BSE.

On a quarter-on-quarter basis the company’s net profit dropped from Rs 277.02 crore recorded in the April-June quarter.

During the quarter under review, the company’s income from operations increased 28.67% to Rs 1,606.25 crore compared to Rs 1,247.53 crore reported in the same period of the last financial year.
