Shree Cement finalises deal to procure imported pet coke

June 09: Shree Cement Ltd has finalised a deal to procure one cargo of 85,000 tons of imported petroleum coke (fuel grade), an industry source said.

The loading of the cargo will take place from the US Gulf in July and the material will arrive at Navlakhi port in middle of August, the source added.

While the source could not throw light on the price of the deal, ICMW understands that it was struck at below $100 per ton CFR. Shree’s cargo is believed to be of 7500 Kcal/kg NAR.
