Singareni sees flat growth in February despatches

Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) reported only a 0.22% growth in coal despatches in February 2016 to 4.52 million tons (mt), compared to 4.51 mt reported for the same month last year.
 

According to data released by the company, February despatches were also marginally higher than 5.24 mt achieved in January.
 

During April-February, 2015-16, the company’s coal despatches stood at 53.31 mt, about 12.4% higher than 47.42 mt reported for the same period last year.

Despatches till February 2016 were 106% of the target of 50.54 mt set for the period under review.
