November 12: Spot prices of South African and Australian steam coal softened further on November 11 amidst an absence in enquiries, industry sources said.
Indonesian coal prices, however, continued to remain stable with some varieties even firming up a bit, they added.
"Indian companies are still not in the market after the Diwali holidays as they are awaiting some clarity to emerge," a trader said.
