January 6: Spot coal prices continued to remain range-bound on January 3 in the absence of participants even as prices of Australian and South African standard coal fell by around $1.00 and $0.75 per ton respectively, industry sources said.
The market is expected to rebound once the participants are back from the annual holidays from January 6, they added.
