April 22: A sluggish trend prevailed in international coal markets on April 21 amidst lack of buying interest which led to a slight softness in South African coal prices, industry sources said.
South African coal prices had gained in the previous week, largely taking a cue from firmness in the futures prices and now some amount of correction is taking place, they said.
