September 5: The international coal market continued to exhibit a soft trend with the continued absence of major enquiries from any of the buyers, industry sources said.
South African prices softened by $0.10 whereas Australian steam coal prices fell by $0.60. Indonesian prices remained unchanged at previous levels.
Following are the indicative prices of coal in various markets and indicative freight rates on September 4:
