Spot prices of South African (standard) coals slipped further on April 7 amidst low enquiry levels from European countries as consumers there appear to be favouring Russian and Columbian varieties because of their low prices, industry sources said.
Australian steam coal prices too softened on low offer prices in line with fall in South African prices, they added.
