September 13: South African steam coal prices improved further on expectations of higher enquiries, while others remained unchanged on lack of interest on September 12, industry sources said.
South African coal prices moved up by $0.55 per ton on the back of a $0.30 per ton increase registered on September 11.
There was in expectation of higher enquiries from India as the rupee stabilised to a great extent during the past few days, they said.
