December 23: The spot prices of South African steam coal eased further on December 22 even as Australian steam coal prices advanced and Indonesian coal prices remained unchanged, market sources said.
The softness in South African prices was on expected lines as buyers and traders exercised restraint due to coming year-end holidays, they said.
