March 27: Spot prices of steam coal in international markets moved both ways on account of fluctuating demand on March 26, industry sources said.
If standard South African prices softened by around $0.75 per ton, prices of Indonesian better grades too eased by $0.20 to $0.30 per ton.
However, Australian steam coal prices, along with that of the 5,500 Kcal/kg South African variety and low grade Indonesian coal inched up by $0.10 to $0.30 per ton.
