February 11: Spot prices of steam coal in major markets remained stable on February 10 despite not many enquiries having come in from major Asian buyers, industry sources said.
Selected Indian traders continued to strike deals for Indonesian coal, but they have adopted a wait-and-watch policy towards the South African varieties as of now in anticipation that prices would fall as normal operations have commenced at RBCT, they said.
