April 15: A stable trend prevailed in international coal prices on April 14 as rates remained largely unchanged on lack of any major buying interest, industry sources said.
With majority of consumers in India having largely concluded deals for deliveries during monsoon, not much interest is left in the market from the Indian side, they said.
Government companies too are deferring their imported coal procurement plans in view of the ongoing general elections, they added.
