Steam coal imports via Kakinada at 181,561 tons in Nov

December 10: Steam Coal imports through the port of Kakinada stood at 181,561 tons in November 2015, while there were no imports of the commodity through the port in October, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
After a two-month lag, a total of 119,035 tons of steam coal had been imported through Kakinanda in September.

In November, a volume of 125,559 tons came from South Africa at a price range of Rs 2,865-Rs 3,405 ($43-$51) per ton but details of the remaining 56,002 tons were not available.
Of the total consignments in September, around 40,272 tons had come in from South Africa at an assessed price of Rs 4,092 ($61) per ton, while the origin and price of the balance 78,763 tons were not immediately available.
