Fund managers and analysts participating in an ET Markets Poll expect the Nifty to gain
further by the year end. 58% of participants feel the index could advance as much as 8% to
10% to 9,4009,600 by December.
Nifty could rise to 9,000 to 9,400 by the year end, said 34% of those polled. The participants
feel investors should stick to sectors, such as cement, infrastructure and automobiles, which
are likely to benefit from a pickup in domestic economic activity
