April 23: Very strong demand was witnessed for G-13 (GCV 3,401 to 3,700Kcal/Kg) grade coal offered by MCL for allotment via the MSTC platform during the month of March 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 100,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 989 per ton.
However, no demand was witnessed for G-13 grade coal offered by NCL for allotment via the MSTC platform during February 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 1,209 tons failed to attract any bid at the e-auction.
On the other hand, very strong demand was witnessed for G-13 grade coal offered by MCL for allotment via the MSTC platform during the month of January 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 440,000 tons got allotted during the month.
