May 27: Strong demand was witnessed for G-3 grade coal (GCV between 6,401 and 6,700 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC during April 2014 as out of the offered quantity of 22,500 tons, a total of 22,460 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,911 per ton.
However, moderate demand was witnessed for G-3 grade coal offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC during March 2014 as out of the offered quantity of 3,000 tons, 1,690 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,071 per ton.
On the other hand, good demand was witnessed for G-3 grade coal offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC during February 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 2,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,404 per ton.
