March 26: Good demand was witnessed for G-3 grade coal (GCV between 6,401 and 6,700 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC during February 2014 as the entire offered quantity of 2,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,404 per ton.
However, good demand was witnessed for G-3 grade coal offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC during January 2014 as out of 69,410 tons offered by SECL, BCCL and CCL, around 58,410 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,070 per ton.
On the other hand, good demand was witnessed for G-3 grade coal offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC during December 2013 as out of 36,200 tons offered by ECL and CCL, around 28,200 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,440 per ton.
