Strong demand was witnessed in February 2016 for G10 grade (GCV 4,301 to 4,600 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries for allotment through the MSTC platform as out of an offered quantity of 1,058,780 tons, 610,160 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,514 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of strong demand was witnessed in January 2016 for G10 grade coal offered by CIL subsidiaries for allotment through MSTC as out of an offered quantity of 1,340,488 tons, 938,918 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,568 per ton.
Likewise, very strong demand was witnessed in December 2015 for G10 grade offered by CIL subsidiaries for allotment through MSTC as out of an offered quantity of 481,958 tons, 420,428 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,418 per ton.
