Strong demand was seen during the e-auction of G10 grade coal (GCV range of 4,301 - 4,600 Kcal/kg) on coaljunction in March 2016 as out of the entire offering of 249,000 tons by WCL, 159,820 tons were allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,825 per ton, according to data available with ICMW
Similarly, strong demand was witnessed in the e-auction of G10 grade coal on coaljunction in February 2016 as out of the entire offering of 350,000 tons by CCL, MCL and SECL, 230,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,599 per ton.
However, there was no demand for G10 grade coal on coaljunction in January 2016, as there were no bids for the 20,000 tons offered by CCL.
