November 27: There was a very strong demand for G12 grade (GCV 3,700 to 4,000 Kcal/kg) coal offered by MCL for allotment through the MSTC platform in October 2013 as the entire offered quantity of 660,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,322 per ton.
In September, this grade was not offered.
