January 30: A very strong demand was witnessed in December for G12 grade (GCV 3,701 to 4,000 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries as the entire offered quantity of 925,000 tons of coal got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,612 per ton.
However, during the previous month, this grade was not offered for allotment via this platform.
