April 27: Strong demand was witnessed for G6 grade (GCV 5,501 to 5,800 Kcal/kg) coal offered for allotment by CIL in the month of March 2015 via the e-auctions conducted on the MSTC platform as out of the entire offered quantity of 119,300 tons of coal, 119,190 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,059 per ton.
Strong demand was also witnessed for this G6 grade offered for allotment by CIL in February 2015 via MSTC as out of the entire offered quantity of 79,000 tons, 77,610 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,677 per ton.
Very strong demand was also witnessed for G6 grade in the month of January 2015 as out of the entire offered quantity of 44,400 tons, 44,380 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,893 per ton.
