November 6: G7 grade coal (GCV range 5,200-5,500 Kcal/kg) met with strong demand at the coaljunction platform in October as out of the offered quantity of 470,440 tons of coal, 457,560 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,870/ton.
In September, there was a strong demand for G7 grade coal as the entire offered quantity of 10,000 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,851/ton.
However, in August, 92.82%, or 89,850 tons of the offered quantity of 96,800 tons got allotted. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,937/ton.
