December 27: Strong demand was witnessed for washery grade (W3 & W4) coking coal offered by Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) and Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) for allotment through the MSTC platform during the month of November 2013.
During November 2013, a total of 205,600 tons of coking coal were offered for allotment out of which 203,280 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the material stood at Rs 3,124 per ton.
However, during October 2013, a total of 181,800 tons of the material were offered for allotment out of which 155,920 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the material stood at Rs 3,221 per ton.
