September 27: In August 2013, of the offered quantity of 835,000 tons of G12 grade (GCV 3,700 to 4,000 Kcal/kg) coal by Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) and South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) of Coal India Limited (CIL) – for allotment via e-auction platform of MSTC, 824,550 tons got allotted.
In July 2013, however, the entire quantity of 285,000 tons of G12 grade coal offered by South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) of Coal India Limited (CIL) got allotted.
