Strong demand was witnessed in March 2016 for G10 grade (GCV 4,301 to 4,600 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries for allotment through MSTC as out of an offered quantity of 913,030 tons, 619,936 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,386 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of strong demand was witnessed in February 2016 for G10 grade coal offered by CIL subsidiaries for allotment through MSTC as out of an offered quantity of 1,058,780 tons, 610,160 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,514 per ton.
Strong demand was witnessed in January 2016 too for G10 grade coal offered by CIL subsidiaries for allotment through MSTC as out of an offered quantity of 1,340,488 tons, 938,918 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,568 per ton.
