September 9: A subdued trend prevailed in international coal markets on lack of fresh enquiries and ample supplies on September 8, market sources said.
While South African coal prices softened further on ample availability and not-so- encouraging enquiries from China and India, prices of other origin coal remained largely unchanged, they added.
