Tata Power expands Green energy capacity by 646.70 MW

April 23: Tata Power, one of India's largest integrated power companies, recently announced that it plans to increase the capacity of its Green energy generation to 646.7 MW by executing projects which are in advance stages.
Tata Power has a gross installed capacity of 912 MW from clean energy sources of which 447 MW comes from hydropower, and 465 MW from renewable sources, namely, wind and solar power, said a company statement.
Tata Power's clean energy projects comprise hydro power projects in Maharashtra with gross installed capacity of 447 MW; wind farms in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan, with gross installed capacity of 437 MW and solar projects in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Delhi, with gross installed capacity of 28 MW, the statement added.
