U.S. produced 15.1 mmst of coal this past week-EIA

The USA the second largest coal producer in the world has produced approximately totaled an estimated 15.1 million short tons (mmst) of coal in a week (For the week ended June 6, 2015), EIA said in its latest report.
According to EIA’s latest report, this production estimate is 0.4% higher than last week's estimate and 18.0% lower than the production estimate in the comparable week in 2014.
East of the Mississippi River produced totaled an estimated 6.3 mmst (flat week over week) and west of the Mississippi River produced totaled an estimated 8.8 mmst (-6.38% week over week) , according to weekly figures released by the US Energy Information Agency (EIA), on June 11, 2015.
U.S. year-to-date (as of June 6, 2015) coal production totaled an estimated 394.0 mmst, 7.9% lower than the comparable year-to-date coal production in 2014.
