UPCL floats NIT to procure 3 mt of imported coal

February 16: Udupi Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) has floated a notice inviting tender (NIT) to procure 3 (+/-25%) million tons (mt) of imported coal on CIF basis for its 1,200- MW power station at Yelluru in the Udupi district of Karnataka, according to information available with ICMW.

The material to be supplied should have a GCV of 5,350-6,250 Kcal/Kg while the sulphur content should be 0.8%, ash content 12% and moisture content 15.5%.

Interested parties can submit their bids till March 4, 2015 up to 1 pm while the techno-commercial bids will open on March 5, 2015 at 4 pm.
