Ujaas Energy PAT up 38% to Rs 37.39 crore

June 2: Ujaas Energy Ltd, a solar power generator under REC, posted a 38% increase in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 37.39 crore for fiscal 2013-14 against Rs 27.01 crore reported in the previous year.

Total income from operations spurted 117% to Rs 525.54 crore against Rs 242.57 crore recorded in the previous fiscal while earnings before depreciation, interest & tax (EBDIAT) in the period under review increased to Rs 99.05 crore (from Rs.50.82 crore in 2012-13).

Ujaas Energy manufactures solar power systems and transformers. It is also a key player in setting up of solar power plants.
