Ukrainian miner looking at India for anthracite coal

November 18: At least two miners from Ukraine are looking to tap the Indian market for anthracite coal, according to information available with ICMW.

While a few offers had come a few months back from traders based in Russia and Ukraine who are offering around 50,000 tons of the material, a new offer has come in recently.

As per the new offer, an Indian trader is looking for buyers to supply around 50,000 tons of anthracite coal from Ukraine for loading in the middle of January, 2014.

The exact grade and expected bid price was not disclosed by the trader. However, the trader said the material will be ready for loading by the middle of January and arrive by mid-February.
