Imports of pet coke via V O Chidambaranar Port (Tuticorin Port) stood at 81,211 tons in December 2015, showing a marginal decrease of 3.31% from 83,988 tons imported in in November 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
For the first nine months (April-December) of the current fiscal (2015-16), pet coke imports via this port stood at 772,160 tons against 209,215 tons in the same period of the previous fiscal (2014-15).

In December 2015, a volume of 6,000 tons came in from the US at a price range of Rs 5,166- Rs 5,170 ($77-$77) per ton and 75,211 tons from other locations at price ranges not available.
In November 2015, a volume of 15,000 tons came in from the US at a price range of Rs 5,024- Rs 5,128 ($76-$77) per ton and 68,988 tons from other locations at price ranges not available.
