VISL floats RFQ to procure 10,000 tons MAM coke

January 24: Steel Authority of India Limited's (SAIL) Visvesvaraya Iron & Steel Plant (VISL), has floated a request for quotation (RFQ) notice to procure 10,000 tons (+/-2%) of medium ash metallurgical (MAM) coke.

The material to be procured should have 16% ash, 4% total moisture, 1% volatile matter, 0.65% sulphur, 0.03% phosphorus, 82% fixed carbon while the size should vary between 25-80 mm.

Supply of the material should be done on FOR Bhadravati basis and is to be supplied at the rate of 1/60th of the purchase order quantity per day minimum starting within 7 days from the date of purchase order. 

Interested parties can submit their bids till February 11, 2014 up to 11 am.
