May 7 : Imports of pet coke via VO Chidambaranar Port (Tuticorin Port) stood at 105,820 tons in April 2015, up more than 7 times against 15,015 tons imported in March 2015, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
In April 2014 a volume of 51,285 tons of pet coke was imported via the port.

In April 2015, a volume of 52,500 tons came in from Saudi Arabia at a unit price of Rs 4,355 ($69) and 53,320 tons from the US at a price range of Rs 4,834-Rs6,711($ 77-$107).
In March 2015, the entire quantity came in from the US at a price range of Rs 6,138-Rs 6,157 ($98) per ton.
