Very good demand for G11 grade coal in Sept e-auction

October 21: There was very good demand for G11 grade (GCV 4,001 to 4,300 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CCL and SECL for allotment through the MSTC platform in September 2013 as the entire offered quantity of 380,000 got allotted.
In August, too there was good demand for this grade offered by CCL and MCL as 143,870 got allotted from the offered quantity of 195,000 tons.
The weighted average price for this grade of coal in September was at Rs 1,525.97 against Rs 1,141.56 in August.
