Very strong demand was witnessed for G11 grade coal (GCV range of 4,001 -4,300 Kcal/kg) as the entire quantity of 300,000 tons offered by SECL for sale through coaljunction in March 2016, got allotted at an average weighted price of Rs 1,226, according to data available with ICMW.
Similarly, very strong demand was witnessed for G11 grade in February 2016 on coaljunction as out of 1,000,000 tons offered by SECL, MCL and CCL, 765,680 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,204.
Strong demand was witnessed for G11 grade in January 2016 too as the entire 390,000 tons offered by SECL and CCL for sale got allotted at an average weighted price of Rs 1,296.
