Very strong demand was witnessed in March 2016 for G11 grade (GCV 4,001 to 4,300 Kcal/kg) coal as out of the entire quantity of 1,023,938 tons offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries, 865,928 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,273 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of very strong demand was witnessed in February 2016 for G11 grade as out of the entire quantity of 200,000 tons offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries, 163,120 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,158 per ton.
Likewise, strong demand was witnessed in January 2016 for G11 grade as out of the entire quantity of 695,000 tons offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries, 521,420 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,155 per ton.
