Very strong demand was witnessed in March 2016 for G12 grade (GCV 3,701 to 4,000 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries through MSTC as out of the entire offered quantity of 1,396,244 tons, 1,093,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,008 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
However, there was no offer for G12 grade coal by CIL subsidiaries through the e-auction platform of MSTC in February 2016.
Like March, very strong demand was witnessed in January 2016 for G12 grade coal offered by CIL subsidiaries through MSTC as out of the entire offered quantity of 1,075,000 tons, 868,930 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,153 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
