Very strong demand was witnessed in July 2016 for grade G13 (GCV 3,401 to 3,700 Kcal/kg) coal as out of the entire quantity of 981,990 tons offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries, 740,680 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,033 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Similar strong demand was witnessed in June 2016 for grade G13 coal as out of the entire quantity of 710,000 tons offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries, 623,500 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,089 per ton.
