Very strong demand was witnessed for G13 grade (GCV of 3,401 to 3,700 Kcal/kg) as out of 515,000 tons offered by MCL for sale through the e-auction platform of coaljunction in February 2016, 472,390 tons got allotted an average weighted price of Rs 1,101, according to data available with ICMW
However, in December, 2015 and January 2016, there were no offerings of G13 grades on coaljunction by Coal India (CIL) subsidiaries.
