April 23: Very strong demand was witnessed in March 2014 for G-11 grade (GCV 4,001 to 4,300 Kcal/kg) coal offered by MCL for allotment through the MSTC platform as the entire offered quantity of 80,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,142 per ton.
In February 2014, there was a good demand for G-11 grade coal offered by CCL for allotment through the MSTC platform as 57,580 tons got allotted out of an offered quantity of 63,000 tons at a weighted average price of Rs 1,528 per ton.
