December 23: Very strong demand was witnessed in November 2015 for G12 grade (GCV 3,701 to 4,000 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL subsidiaries through the e-auction platform of MSTC as out of 902,000 tons, 854,990 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,255 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of very strong demand was witnessed in October 2015 for G12 grade offered by CIL subsidiaries through MSTC as out of 1,337,000 tons, 1,239,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,361 per ton.
Strong demand was witnessed in September 2015 for G12 grade coal offered by CIL subsidiaries through MSTC as out of 1,675,000 tons, 1,122,700 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,444 per ton.
