Very strong demand was witnessed in January 2016 for grade G13 (GCV 3,401 to 3,700 Kcal/kg) coal as the entire quantity of 485,000 tons offered on the MSTC platform by CIL subsidiaries got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,193 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Likewise, very strong demand was witnessed in December 2015 for grade G13 coal as the entire quantity of 335,000 tons offered on MSTC by CIL got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,216 per ton.
Similar kind of very strong demand was witnessed in November 2015 for grade G13 as the entire quantity of 380,000 tons offered on MSTC by CIL subsidiaries got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,351 per ton.
