Very strong demand was witnessed in the e-auction of G16 (GCV between 2,501 and 2,801 Kcal/kg) grades on coaljunction in March 2016 as the entire offering of 600,000 tons by SECL got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 782 per ton, according to data available with ICMW.
However, there were no offerings of G16 grades on coaljunction in January 2016 and February 2016.
