November 23: There was very strong demand for G7 grade (GCV ranging from 5,201 to 5,500 Kcal/kg) coal offered by subsidiaries of CIL for allotment through the MSTC platform during October 2015 as the entire offered quantity of 275,110 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,517 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
However, there was moderate demand for G7 grade coal offered by subsidiaries of CIL for allotment through MSTC during September 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 122,400 tons, 39,280 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,300 per ton.
Similarly, there was moderate demand for G7 grade coal offered by subsidiaries of CIL for allotment through MSTC during August 2015 as out of the offered quantity of 100,150 tons, 50,922 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,268 per ton.
