Imports of limestone through the port of Vizag dropped 67.32% to 12,213 tons in December 2015, month-on-month against 37,372 tons in November, as per provisional information available with ICMW.

In December 2015, a volume of 9,182 tons arrived from Vietnam in a range of Rs 5,499 – Rs 7,349 ($82-109) per ton, 1,031 tons from Oman at Rs 7,454/ton ($112) and 2,000 tons from Thailand in a range of Rs 7,958 – Rs 8,511 ($118-127) per ton.
November 2015 saw a volume of 4,622 tons arrive from Vietnam in a range of Rs 4,161 – Rs 7,235 ($64-109) per ton, 18,000 tons from Oman at a price band of Rs 1,386 – 1,650 ($21-25), 2,500 tons from Thailand in a range of Rs 7,788 – Rs 7,958 ($118-119) per ton and a volume of 12,250 tons arrived from Malaysia at a price range of Rs 2,592 – 2,626 ($39-40) per ton.
