January 27: During December 2013, out of a total quantity of 1,535,000 tons of different grades of coal offered for allotment by MCL on MSTC's e-auction platform, only 525,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,290 per ton.
However, during November 2013, out of a total quantity of 110,900 tons of different grades of coal offered for allotment by Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) on MSTC's e-auction platform, only 10,650 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,715 per ton.
